Penzance – Fourth At Tramore
Tramore- 16th August
Penzance was fourth for seven pound claimer Harry Sexton at Tramore, having been held up towards the rear he kept on in the home straight to be beaten 4 1/2 lengths.
Penzance – Unplaced At Galway
Galway- 2nd August
Penzance ran on the final day of the Galway festival, he was held up off a strong pace, and briefly threatened approaching the second last where he made a mistake and then weakened on the run-in to be beaten 33 lengths his busy summer may have taken its toll.
Penzance – Second For The Third Time
Worcester- 22nd July
Penzance made the running under Paddy Hanlon and quickened it up from the home turn, his rival challenged him at the last but he stuck his neck out only to be nabbed close home by the fast finishing Without Burlington.

Penzance ran another great race under Paddy Hanlon, leading for most of the race, but kept on well to the line, we hope his time will come soon.

Penzance returned to the turf at Thirsk where he took up the running for David Egan, he just weakened in the final furlong and was beaten 5 1/4 lengths.

Penzance was purchased as a fun horse for us and made his debut for us on the competitive Good Friday card at Lingfield, he led early but weakeaned in the home straight to finish eleventh where he was probably outclassed.
